Dana Louise is coming all the way from her Arkansas Ozark mountain cabin to join me for a special night of songs on Saturday, December 6th at 9pm (CST). We're excited to broadcast this show globally from Studio Do Be Do. Tune in and join the party! Tickets available here (pay what you want!)
Why is it so hard to be vulnerable? Strength lies in vulnerability. Last night people drove through rush hour rain from San Antonio and all corners of Austin to attend my show at Strange Brew.
I took risks. I put down my guitar and sang an acappella song about my childhood dog getting hit by a car. What a terrifying rush- just my voice and the microphone, snapping my fingers to a silent room of listeners. Listeners who got it. Listeners who came up after the show and shared stories of their losses, chaos and pain. And we laughed together!
I love this light we carry as humans. Life is messy- we bend, break, and heal. We smile and love big. We are in this together and I'm honored to get to share my light in the best listening rooms in Austin, TX and beyond.
Let's do the things that scare us and love to tell the tales.
Thanks Texas Music Magazine! "Daisy's EP shows extraordinary promise, her fresh voice and quirky narrative sensibility reminiscent of Kacey Musgraves at her best, but still always her own-- a forceful combination of honesty and artistry."
